Taylor and Taylor got married in a traditional, elegant wedding at Legacy Event Center in Lubbock, Texas on a perfect spring day. Yes, the bride and groom have the same name and now they have both the same first and last name. However, friends and family use the nicknames “Big Taylor” and “Little Taylor” to differentiate the two. Adorable is an understatement.

Now, 8 years later, they're engaged and they're getting married at the Resplendent Garden this summer (I, for one, can't wait for it!). Clearly, these two just work together. They are so amazing together and they are as sweet as they look. Their engagement session in Palo Duro Canyon was full of real laughter (my favorite!) and lots of cuddling for warmth. But I promised her that I would make them feel comfortable and rarely would I have them just staring at the camera. So I made them kiss and do silly things and the two of them were pretty much laughing the entire time we were downtown.

It’s a saturated market so I fully believe that clients should choose a photographer by looking at all of the factors: price, quality of work, style, past reviews, print options, among others. Another factor to consider is the photographer’s personality, especially if it’s for a wedding day. If you’re going to be spending an extended amount of time with someone, you will want to actually like them!

As a wedding photographer, I have seen first hand how a well-planned, spacious timeline allows me to create great photos and allows the bride and groom room to relax and breathe. I love the crisp cleanness of wintertime, the muted colors, and the softness. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Elise is a beautiful girl with the brightest blue eyes. She's a senior at Claude High School and she clearly has a heart of gold. She's headed to Midwestern State University after she graduates and though she doesn't know what she will study yet, I'm sure she'll be very successful.
