Celia and Blake have been together for over 8 years and I think that gave them plenty of time to become best friends. The foundation of their relationship is obvious. While watching them, I noticed that they barely have to talk to each other to know what the other is going to do next. It's like they can read one another's minds. They have a stable, loving relationship that was a joy to capture on their wedding day. 

Sheridan and Jerry are one of those couples that I find myself wanting to become best friends with. Their wedding was simply beautiful. It was elegant, sweet, and lovely (all of those good adjectives!) But what really stood out was how fun their wedding day was, especially the reception. Because they planned it well, they were able to relax and just laugh and have a good time together. 

Callie and Kyle met when mutual friends each brought them to a basketball game. They each had no idea they were about to meet the person they would eventually marry. Though Callie was trying to watch the game, Kyle wanted to make conversation and they ended up talking through the entire game. A few short years later, Kyle surprised Callie by proposing to her on the basketball court surrounded by candles. 

I met Ashley and John way back last year when I attended the Lubbock Bridal Event. Soon after, they booked me for their Llano Estacado wedding and I hated waiting so long to photograph their day! Luckily we got to meet up for their engagement session in the spring at Texas Tech University. During that time I got to understand their personalities and a little bit of their love story. 

I have shot a select few weddings that could not have gone better timeline-wise. It is absolutely refreshing when it happens because it allows me to fully do my job and it allows the bride and groom to relax and simply be along for the ride. In contrast, weddings with messy or tight timelines will create a wedding day full of frenzied emotions and frazzled brides.
