I get pretty attached to my clients and Kayce is no exception. Since she lives in Fort Worth, the first time I met her in person was during her bridal session in Palo Duro Canyon - where her wedding also was. I instantly liked her. And her wedding last weekend ended up being one of my all time favorites for many reasons but mostly because the people there were awesome. Not only were Kayce and her now husband Conner so amazing, nice, and relaxed but their wedding party was perfect as well!

When Marie first emailed me she described herself as a "small town girl meets big city east coast boy." She's originally from Lubbock and she met Brett, the man that would become her husband, while in the Air Force. Crysta | Amarillo Bridal Portraits

Crysta is one of the sweetest brides that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She is soft spoken and lovely. Her lace wedding dress was classically elegant and perfect for her. We started her bridal portraits at the Amarillo Country Club, then we went to the Wolflin neighborhood. Finally, we found a gorgeous grassy country road to catch the last few rays of sunlight in the golden hour.

Heather + Dan | Classic Fall Wedding at Three Falls Cove

No, this wedding did not take place in the mountains of Colorado. Heather and Dan said "I do" in the hidden oasis that is Three Falls Cove on the edge of Lake Meredith on an overcast autumn day. Three Falls Cove is nestled in some of the tallest trees that you can find in West Texas and Heather and Dan's wedding style matched perfectly with the woodsy, earthy look.

Lauren | Autumn Bridal Photography Session

I just love the way that Lauren's bright red hair pops against the deep autumn colors of the Wolflin neighborhood in Amarillo, Texas. She is a vibrant and beautiful bride! As I've said, the hardest thing about bridal sessions is holding off on posting images until after the wedding and with Lauren, I had to wait over a month! Kayla's Favorite Wedding Vendors | Bella Vie Venue & Event Center

Bella Vie Venue & Event Center, one of Lubbock's newest wedding venues, is literally a photographer's dream. I could shoot hundreds of weddings here and not get tired of it. I believe that this venue is so successful and so beautiful for one main reason: the owner is a photographer herself (I'm fairly certain that every venue would be a lot prettier if they would consult a photographer in the design process but that's just my opinion).

The Wolflin neighborhood of Amarillo is one of the most elegant places for a bridal photo session and there's nothing quite like having a client that fully trusts you - even when I put them in front of seemingly ugly pink stucco walls in their gorgeous wedding dress ;) Aubree's springtime bridal session was filled with roses, greenery, and her to-die-for mermaid gown. Meghann + Drew's wedding at Bella Vie in Lubbock was a photographer's dream. Meghann's perfect attention to detail lead to one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever seen. The blush hues perfectly intermingled with the eucalyptus leaves to create a soft, elegant, classic, yet unique look. And one of my favorite things about this wedding was the venue itself. With the perfect light, it was difficult to take a bad photo there. It has the feel of an outdoor wedding with the comfort of being indoors - and that's great for photos.
