I honestly feel like God brings me the clients that I need at exactly the right time. Lauren and Ryan's wedding is only one month away but by a crazy turn of events, I am now shooting their wedding and I could not be more excited. One of my other amazing clients referred Lauren to me and I am so glad that she did.
Read MoreI knew I liked Sheridan and Jerry from day one. We met back in the fall when they booked me for their July 2017 wedding. The moment that Sheridan pulled out her wedding planning notebook was the moment that I knew I had found an ideal client and kindred spirit. She was so organized and on the ball! Being super Type A myself, it's fun to work with people that think like I do.
Read MoreThis engagement session just screams spring and I love it so much! Celia and Blake met in high school in their small town of Perryton, Texas. Now, 8 years later, they're engaged and they're getting married at the Resplendent Garden this summer (I, for one, can't wait for it!). Clearly, these two just work together. It's easy to see that they've been together a long time and they know each other well.
Read MoreI'm so glad that Ashley, John, and I were finally able to meet up and do their engagement session! I say "finally" because all of us kept switching the date back and forth. We couldn't seem to find a date that stuck due to weather, work schedules, my shooting schedule, etc. But finally! We made it work and it was so worth it.
Read MoreThese two adorable people have spent six years together (four of which were long distance) and they are now getting married later this year. They are so amazing together and they are as sweet as they look. Their engagement session in Palo Duro Canyon was full of real laughter (my favorite!) and lots of cuddling for warmth. Though it was a breezy, crisp January day, their smiles are what make the pictures look warm.
Read MoreAleecya and Kyle's engagement session was one big giggle fest. Aleecya warned me before her session that her fiance, Kyle, was "not much of a picture guy." But I promised her that I would make them feel comfortable and rarely would I have them just staring at the camera. So I made them kiss and do silly things and the two of them were pretty much laughing the entire time we were downtown.
Read MoreThis fall anniversary session makes me want to cuddle up with a good book and some hot tea. But seriously. Aren't these two the cutest? Samantha and Shane recently moved to Amarillo from New Hampshire, where Samantha is from and where they got married last fall. Before they moved here, she had a plan to take one photo from each season of the first year of their marriage. She found me through one of my past clients and I am so glad she chose me to take their fall photo because meeting them and taking their anniversary photos has turned out to be one of my favorite shoots of the year.
Read MoreThese two are a couple of my favorites. A lot of people ask me if I know my clients before they hire me and the answer is no 98% of the time. However, sometimes clients come along that I feel like I have known for a long time. Callie and Kyle are a couple of clients like that. Their engagement session went so smoothly and comfortably and I could have photographed them for a couple more hours easily - except without the mosquitos that literally ate me alive ;)
Read MoreCarsyn and Tino are high school sweethearts and it's easy to see that they are best friends. I really mean it when I say that I had a ton of fun with them during their engagement session. Everything felt instantly comfortable. After traversing around downtown and sneaking onto rooftops, we headed out to my favorite field where Carsyn and Tino seemed to come alive even more.
