Lauren + Ryan | Resplendent Garden Wedding

I only booked Lauren and Ryan's wedding about a month ago but I am so happy that this couple fell into my lap. I don't think clients get much sweeter than these two - I really mean that. Lauren is the type of person that makes everyone around her feel welcomed, loved, and important and Ryan treats her so, so well. Their wedding day was a wonderfully happy day for everyone that was there!

Cassidyy + Daniel | Wedding at The Bowery Warehouse in Amarillo

Cassidyy and Daniel are truly some of the best people that I know. Since becoming friends with them earlier this year, they have welcomed Mason and I into their home and into their lives. They have no idea how much their friendship has blessed us. So getting to photograph their wedding was a dream come true for me because it was one of those weddings that holds so much meaning. Yes, it was about their love for one another - but more importantly, it was about their love for Jesus. It's the kind of wedding that stands as a reminder for why I love my job so much.

Celia + Blake | Wedding at The Resplendent Garden in Amarillo, Texas

Celia and Blake have been together for over 8 years and I think that gave them plenty of time to become best friends. The foundation of their relationship is obvious. While watching them, I noticed that they barely have to talk to each other to know what the other is going to do next. It's like they can read one another's minds. They have a stable, loving relationship that was a joy to capture on their wedding day.

Sheridan + Jerry | Westminster Presbyterian Church Wedding in Amarillo, Texas

Sheridan and Jerry are one of those couples that I find myself wanting to become best friends with. Their wedding was simply beautiful. It was elegant, sweet, and lovely (all of those good adjectives!) But what really stood out was how fun their wedding day was, especially the reception. Because they planned it well, they were able to relax and just laugh and have a good time together.

Callie + Kyle | Eberley Brooks Wedding in Lubbock, Texas

Callie and Kyle met when mutual friends each brought them to a basketball game. They each had no idea they were about to meet the person they would eventually marry. Though Callie was trying to watch the game, Kyle wanted to make conversation and they ended up talking through the entire game. A few short years later, Kyle surprised Callie by proposing to her on the basketball court surrounded by candles.

Ashley + John | Llano Estacado Winery Wedding

I met Ashley and John way back last year when I attended the Lubbock Bridal Event. Soon after, they booked me for their Llano Estacado wedding and I hated waiting so long to photograph their day! Luckily we got to meet up for their engagement session in the spring at Texas Tech University. During that time I got to understand their personalities and a little bit of their love story.

Sheridan | Westminster Presbyterian Church Bridal Session

Sheridan is really a kindred spirit to me. I've never had a bride so organized and efficient and I absolutely love it! She's one of those brides that I jive so well with. But while we get stuff done, we also have ton of fun during her sessions. I shot her engagement session with now-husband Jerry back in April and then I shot her bridals a couple of weeks ago. Her hilarious, wonderful mother was there during bridals, of course, and she made the experience even better.

Channing + Josiah | Spirit Ranch Wedding in Lubbock, Texas

The night before Channing and Josiah's wedding their pastor got a text from a friend because God told him that peacocks would be a sign of the Holy Spirit for him. That friend didn't know that the next day the pastor would be performing a ceremony at Spirit Ranch - a venue known for its flock of peacocks that roam the grounds. During their wedding ceremony they chose to spend time in worship, right before officially becoming husband and wife.

Callie | Eberley Brooks Bridal Session

Talk about a gorgeous bride! And a total sweetheart! I first met Callie waaaay back in July of last year - exactly one year before her wedding. I loved shooting her and now-husband Kyle's engagement pictures last fall and I had just as much fun shooting her bridals this spring. I always say that the hardest thing about bridals is that I can't publish them until after the wedding. For Callie, I had to wait two months! It was torture!

It's easy to see that Channing is gorgeous and once you get to know her, you find out that she's just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. I know that they have nothing but happy years in front of them!

The Hilliard's | Family Photos in Palo Duro Canyon

I photographed this sweet family back in November of last year and I was soooo happy to see them again - this time in the heat of June! The timing ended up being quite perfect. Heather (mom) emailed me the day of their shoot because her 89 year old grandfather recently flew in from Iowa. She wanted to see if he could be in a couple of their family photos. I said, "Of course!!" What a wonderful, amazing opportunity for them. I was so happy to be able to capture that photo for them - it's the kind of thing that makes my job so joyful and worthwhile.
