Maycie | Dumas High Senior Photos

The second Maycie stepped on to the grassy field for her golden hour senior photo session, I was like "Dang, girl!" because she immediately struck a pose. I was not expecting that. Normally, I have to coax senior girls and help them feel more confident for their senior photos, but not Maycie. I am jealous of her confidence! I was so thankful and excited that she was willing to let her long hair blow around in the Texas wind while I was free to snap away. Seriously though, isn't she cute?

Lately, the sun has been hiding behind the clouds about 30 minutes before setting. It's been frustrating. So it was an absolute breath of fresh air when the sun emerged from the clouds right before sunset after an overcast day. I was able to get those golden hour, sunny, bright shots that I love - full of texture and full of warmth. My favorite!
