Gladys + Bobby | Palo Duro Canyon Engagement Photographer

Bobby asked Gladys to marry him while they were overlooking a cliff in the vast, beautiful, and wild Palo Duro Canyon. They decided to return to the canyon when it came time for their engagement photo session. It's a special place for them and they seem to fit right in among the yucca, cactus, and red rocks.

Though I've done many sessions in the canyon (especially recently!) I'm still in awe of every couple, every family, and every senior that I get to meet there. They are unique and it is my goal to give them unique photos. I squeal in excitement when I discover a new spot to take photos there or when the light is just right. My clients can attest to this. During Gladys and Bobby's session we had already said our goodbyes, gotten into our cars, and were about to leave. Then I saw the sun peak through the clouds to create the most beautiful sunset light you could imagine. I couldn't end the session. I got out of my car and went up to them to see if they were up for a few more shots. We drove down to a different spot and took some photos with the warm light shining through, the sun just about to set (photo above). It was most definitely worth it.
