Lisa + Justin | Early Spring Engagement Session at Boy's Ranch
This engagement session is a testament to the fact that sometimes rescheduling is a very good idea. Lisa and Justin’s original date ended up being a day with 40 mph winds (overturned trucks, blown over fences, and shingles ripped off roofs). Needless to say that would have been a terrible day for engagement photos.
Luckily, the day we rescheduled to was BEAUTIFUL. I had never been out to Boy’s Ranch before but I was so happy they decided to take their photos there. Sometimes it makes me nervous to shoot in new places but it can be so rewarding - especially when my clients decide to bring along their pets and horses! Which Lisa and Justin did. It can be challenging bringing animals into the mix but I always love the end result.
Lisa and Justin were so much fun to hang out with for an hour. It was one of those sessions that caused me to want the sunset to last forever and ever so I could keep shooting out there at Boy’s Ranch. Watching the sun set on the “edge of the world” (as they call it) reminded me why I love my job and the Texas Panhandle so much.
