Tyla + Nicholas | St. Thomas Amarillo Wedding | Kayla Smith Photography

These two had one of the most elegant, traditional ceremonies I've seen. It was gorgeous and meaningful. Their reception, however, was a different story entirely. Right away they broke into their choreographed and classic first dance. It was beautiful but nothing out of the ordinary. Then Tyla started dancing with her dad and halfway through, the music changed and Tyla and her father broke out into a dance complete with headbanging, air guitar, and rock on hand signals. The proof is in the photos!

Later on, their reception was filled with personal traditions like the Texas State University fight song and a gift of bread, wine, and salt from Nick's parents. The bread ensures the newly married couple will never go hungry, the wine helps them enjoy the sweetness in life and allows them to never go thirsty, and the salt gives their life flavor.

I hope all of that is true for your life and marriage, Nick and Tyla!
