Jerah + Bryan | Amarillo Wedding Photographer

Jerah & Bryan got married on an overcast day outside of Canyon, TX at the home of their close family friends. Their day was simple, sweet and all about their love. Jerah describes herself as an nontraditional bride - opting to walk barefoot and without a bouquet down the aisle. My favorite part of their laidback, nontraditional style was that they decided to do a first look and see each other before the wedding. During their ceremony, tears came to my eyes when the song "Touch the Sky" by Hillsong UNITED played as their pastor gave them communion.

Their night continued with their first dance as husband and wife. The party was moved into the living room because it was starting to sprinkle outside on the lawn. They danced, listened to their family toast them, cut their cake, and danced the night away. During Jerah's mother's toast we all noticed that it was starting to look...different outside. So everyone ventured onto the lawn and we all witnessed one of the most beautiful sights we had ever seen (pictures below). To the north, the sky was bright orange and to the south, the sky was lavender with a rainbow stretching across it. Not even kidding. In the pictures of the sky, I promise I barely did a thing to them. God truly blessed that night and their marriage and this was His way of showing it :)

Jerah and Bryan have such an obvious love for not only each other, but also for their family and friends and their wedding was a perfect reflection of that. I hope you enjoy viewing the story of their day.
