Amarillo Commercial Photography | Kith & Kin: Family of Makers

Occasionally a project comes along that I get unbelievably excited about. A few months ago, Peter Clark of Kith & Kin emailed me about doing some commercial photography for he and his wife Sarah's company. They call themselves a "Family of Makers" and they are a local Amarillo, TX business. He creates the most unique furniture I have ever seen and she creates bags that are works of art.  I was stoked to say the least. However, a few months passed and nothing came to fruition.

Then, a couple of weeks ago, Sarah emailed me. She had some bags ready to shoot so I threw myself into the project. I found my model, Noelle, because I had shot her senior portraits a few months back and both Sarah and I loved her look for the shoot. You won't believe this but I also painted an entire wall in my house white just so I would have a place to shoot. I'm a little bit dedicated...

Anyway, the shoot finally happened and I am ecstatic with how the images turned out. You will be seeing a lot more from them in the future.

In the meantime, check out a few of the photos from the shoot below and visit their website to see what the Family of Makers is all about.
